Wonder Woman

Even superheroes need to stretch before they go out and kick some butts.

I actually really like Wonder Woman's redesign. I think it's way more functional than her old halter top/ granny panty combo. For this image I decided to play around with a cleaner style. It was way more time consuming than I anticipated but definitely worth it. I'm really happy with the finished piece!

Mermaid

Got commissioned by a regular at the Caribou I work to paint her a mermaid. :)

Coloring is based off of an albino paradise fish.

Total time - 4hrs.

Sketch Dump - December

Returning to colored pencils was probably the best thing I could have done for myself over Christmas break. At the end of last quarter I could barely hold a pencil without chucking across the room in revulsion. Same thing goes for a Wacom pen.

Going back to the basics was a nice change of pace.

I'm so thankful for the new sketchbook and pencil set I got for Christmas. Thanks Mom & Dad! <3
