A Proposal

I'll be drawing much more of this guy. He's the main character of my storyboard final and he offers a lot of great acting opportunities. I'm looking forward to animating him again soon!

A Bee in Love

Just a quick little animation of my bee character. I haven't done that much experimenting with him and I thought it would be fun to try and get the feel of his personality through more than just sketching.

Sisters

So over winter break I was working on some artwork for my two younger sisters. The first one is Emily. She's a huge Harry Potter nut so I figured I throw her in some robes. It was also the first time I've seriously worked with Illustrator. I figured I needed some more experience in the program so I used this idea to figure it out. Woo vector images. The first sketch was done in Photoshop.

The there's my incredibly talented beast of a sister. I actually went through two drafts of this and chose the limited color pallet. I think it works in some places... and not so much in others. It was also my first time doing anything remotely comic-like.

2010

It has been a rollercoaster year like none other. Amazing highs and lows. I'm thankful for all of it, even the mistakes. It's time to learn from them and move on. Here's to 2010!

Fall Quarter 2010

A little caricature practice, the family Christmas card, and my Literature final. Did a ton of animating this quarter but not sure if I'm going to post it. We'll see.

Looking forward to everything I'll be doing during this coming year! My last year of school! Its going to go by fast.
